question

i have a 1980's suzuki quadrunner and i was just riding like i usually do and i came over a hill like usuall and hit my jump as usual but after it sputtered out and quit and there was a fuel line hanging down on the drivers side through a support hole and i cant see where it goes but it doesnt look like it can go too far but i dont know where?
